The blog’s post title is a bit misleading. Especially given that this site is for Mac Law Students.

It takes about halfway through the article for him to get to the most crucial part of using an iPad in any kind of school setting, let alone law school: How is the typing? How is the note taking?

And he says Pages is terrible. And he needs a bluetooth keyboard to really fly on the keys.

His 13″ MacBook Pro would be a lot more helpful to anyone coming to class to actually work.

C’mon here, Erik. I am new to your blog; retain me with an actual review of his review as it pertains to law school.

    Best,

    Joe,

This site is for Mac-using law students, but plenty of undergrads, practicing attorneys, and other folks read it as well. From time to time the content strays from topics purely of interest to law students. I found Rust’s post interesting as much for his criticisms as for what he likes about using the iPad.
