Hefty Leopard Update Arrives

OS X 10.5.2 is here, and it’s a big one. The list of fixes and enhancements in 10.5.2 is lonnnnng. It took about a half an hour for me to download (via Software Update) and install it on my PowerBook. Note that the installation process seems like it’s not doing anything for a few minutes, and the screen goes to full blue screen before rebooting. As Apple’s support page notes:

The installation process should not be interrupted, even if the progress bar remains unchanged for several minutes.

So far I haven’t encountered any problems with 10.5.2. I’m already happy that the update fixed a problem with keyboard backlighting, and I’m looking forward to spotting other minor improvements.
