The folks at Ars are very thorough in their hardware reviews. If you’re curious about the MacBook Air, take a look at Jacqui Cheng’s review of the newest Apple laptop. The review solidifies my feeling that the MBA would be an excellent “satellite” laptop. Law school computer use isn’t generally very CPU-intensive or disk-intensive, so if you do your music and movies on a desktop machine, the MBP could be a sweet machine for your on-campus work (assuming you can afford it).
