It seems the current average wait for a 2.53GHz 13″ MacBook Pro ordered online is 7-10 days. I’m not surprised. This critter looks like a nearly ideal workhorse for students of all stripes. It wouldn’t surprise me if a big chunk of the demand is due to the standard Apple Back to School promotion, wherein you buy a Mac and get a free iPod for your troubles.
