Yesterday I switched hosting providers. To make a long story short, I’d been encountering some difficulties with the discussion board I set up for testing purposes a few days ago. It bothered me that I couldn’t easily upgrade the discussion board software, and dealing with the database was a clumsier affair than it needed to be.
So far the transition has been pretty smooth, although I am noticing a few small glitches (like quotation marks being rendered in some places as question marks). I’ll try to sort out all of those nits today or tomorrow. In the mean time, comments are back on, and everything should be working reasonably smoothly.
