A Call for Writers + Your Content Ideas

If you’re a law student anywhere on the planet and you use a Mac, you can write for Mac Law Students. Yep, it’s that simple. Just drop me a line (erik@maclawstudents.com) and tell me what you’d like write about. Assuming you’re interested in writing about something related to Macs and law school, you’re golden. Why can I say this with such careless abandon?

Three reasons:

  1. You’re either already in law school, or will be by September. That means you can write.
  2. You use a Mac. That means you don’t settle for “good enough.”
  3. It’s late. I already forgot what the third reason was. Wait, I just remembered. The third reason is pure self-interest. The more YOU write, the less I have to write. You can tell I’m going to be a 3L this year, can’t you? I’m finally learning the big lessons in life.

If you don’t want to write, you can just tell me (by commenting to this article) what you’d like to see on Mac Law Students. Any software you’d like to see reviewed? Think the site needs an FAQ section or some other type of page I haven’t thought of? Let me know.

Don’t forget to perhaps have some practicing lawyers write a few post for you on starting out after law school.

Hmm… well, I can think of one right off the top of my head!

I wouldn’t mind contributing an article or two, but being a 3L myself, I don’t want to commit to posting regularly… :)

If you have topics you’d like to get covered but don’t have anyone, let me know…

    Dave,

The only person who is (or should be) committed to any sort of schedule is me.

Alright, people. What should Dave write about?!

I would like to see you review more software. Currently I am searching for a legal spell checker for Office 2004 Thanks.

How about an updated posting of recommended Mac software for those who are entering this fall?

    Daniel,

Thanks for your input. More reviews are in the pipeline, but it’s good to know that’s what people want.

    Mr. Twain,

That’s an excellent idea. I’ll start working on it shortly.

Might be nice to remind people to consider investing in either 1) Undercover by Orbicule or 2) LoJack for Laptops

I recently purchased Undercover. Here’s to hoping I never actually need to make use of it.

Thanks for creating and maintaining this blog. I’ve been reading it since last fall and it is awesome.

    David,

Thanks for the note. I haven’t tried either Orbicule or Lojack, but I imagine it would be useful to be prepared. Given that someone ripped off the iPod radio adapter and power adapters from inside our car the other day, I should probably be more concerned about theft.
